Buying a New TV in Time for the World Cup

Wednesday 9th June 2010 - 10:41 AM

As I mention in the video, and anyone that knows me can attest to, I’m not very big on TV. However the World Cup is a big enough event to give me an excuse to buy a new flat screen.

Who will you be supporting during the World Cup?
(Apart from the Aussies of course!)

  • Switzerland, because that who I drew in a sweep at work. Also perhaps Germany because my boss was delighted I drew that country for him and said he would give me a cut of the winnings. Naturally I want the Aussies to get up though.

  • Marces

Italy is my preffered flavour but if they come up against the Aussies then I have a battle of the mind but because the Italians have been there and done that I will go for the Aussies

    Here's another one...........

You have brains in your head, and feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. - Dr Seuss

Could this also apply to the Aussies at the world cup???

    Enjoy Milka

My family are football fanatics (they don't like to call it soccer). They'd be the better people to answer the QOTD.

I came across this quote recently & I liked it & I would like to share it.

"You can count how many seeds are in the apple, but not how many apples are in the seed."
    - Ken Kesey

Could that apply to the Aussies at the World Cup???

    Enjoy Milka

And in perfect first time blogger form I wrote my comment about the blog in the wrong section :) I should be over there in with the 250 plus and it's just me and Sam here. How you going Sam? What sport am I supposed to be talking about? :) Marieke

Italy as well and I hope that they meet again with Australia hopefully in the grand final and the game will be honest and a great one not like last time when in my opinion Italy cheated and Australia lost
I believe that Australia has come a long way with its skills and can only get better from here
    Go Aussie and Italy

Wow you are something else! You even have me learning to use a computer :) Yeah I'm in! I want to be a part of this. I am letting other things fall away from my life as I prioritise Paul Blackburns program, Pay it forward and preparing for my first renovation. I can't actually compare this blog to any others 'cause I never have looked at any others, so my assessment is this - I love it! Why 'cause it's yours and I trust you, I love what you do, love the goals, the plans, the ideas and the values. Your integrity is what has got me completely suckered in :) Good luck with the blog. Marieke :)
